Ceramic Jewellery Workshop at Sew Make Create

Come and enjoy a class of creating your own unique pieces of ceramic jewellery! Suitable for the complete beginner or others who wish to expand their experience of creating their own wearable art, you will learn different ceramic techniques. We will be making ceramic beads, necklace pendants and brooches. Experiment and explore different sizes and shapes, then colour our pieces with underglazes or add texture to our pieces. Bring your creative jewellery ideas, cookie cutters for making shapes and interesting samples for textures.After the class, the ceramic pieces need to be left behind so they can be glazed and fired in a kiln. Your fired jewellery pieces will be ready for pick up from Sew Make Create 2 weeks after.

About Kristina Guderjahn

For the past 20 years Kristina have been playing with clay. She has completed an Advance Diploma in Ceramics and numerous hand building courses. Now she loves to share her passion and knowledge of ceramics through her classes.

Sew Make Create is a workshop and retail space in Sydneys creative suburb of Chippendale. We hold casual, creative classes and social events for children and adults. Customers are also welcome to use the space to work on their own personal projects or hire a sewing machine on an hourly basis. The workshop welcomes everyone to gather and work amongst others over a cup of tea and have a creative experience.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

You can cancel a booking, postpone or swap classes up to 7 days prior to the class date to receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel your booking less than 7 days prior to the start of class we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your spot. You are welcome to offer your spot to a friend to avoid losing your paid class fee. If you cancel, postpone or swap classes less than 7 days prior to the start of class a small re-booking, administration fee may apply to avoid losing your full paid class fee, so you aren’t left out of pocket.

Sorry, there will be no refunds for cancellations or “Change of Mind” after a class has been attended and the course has commenced. For cancellations and changes due to exceptional circumstances such as family issues or emergencies, each case will be looked at individually.

Instructor is very knowledgable about ceramics and she has lots of tools to help with the clay molding of different shapes and sizes. Good to come prepared with some designs in mind so that you can make rhe best out of the workshop.
