Children & Clay

Clay is an expressive medium stimulating children’s imaginations. Children  of all ages enjoy the experience this medium provides when pounded, rolled, stretched and squelched. Working with clay improves dexterity, the firm nature of the clay allows hand and arm muscle groups to work in unison, whilst moulding and shaping pieces to their desired shape.

Clay enables children the permanency of creation. Pieces can be created  to last forever & self esteem is boosted when a child experiences first hand, their creation being used. Children’s imaginations are stimulated through the use of clay as their minds are challenged to develop new ideas. Clay is an expressive medium which is ideal for enhancing development & holistic  learning.
