Explore Melbourne's famous laneways with a street artist who will tell you all the exciting stories behind the artworks.
The tour will start at Federation Square and finish at the Blender Studios. (Exact location TBA upon booking).
Our tours are led by an established street artist who is passionate about the street art world. Street art is an ephemeral art form, and who would know about this better than a practising street artist?
Melbourne Street Tours have been running the school street art tour program for over five years and have opened the eyes of over 35,000 students across Victoria, Australia and the world to the incredible urban art scene that Melbourne has to offer.
The youth tour program has been developed specifically for young people. Our tour guides are street artists themselves but have a great ability to engage students in a wide variety of topics and all our staff have WWC checks.
We kindly ask that parents do not attend the tour due to group size restrictions. The tour is capped at 15 young people and will be lead by an experienced tour guide and an extra assistant.

Many artists from the Blender have achieved great success in their research and practice.
There has always been a heavy research influence at the Blender. There is a lot of discussions and constructive criticism.
Over the years there has been many Blender artists working in a variety of mediums, who have achieved major critical success.
In early 2004 the Blender closed, to be opened again in 2007 in the same place. The climate of the Australian art scene had changed and as the Blender re-opened its doors it was clear that the Blender was also going to be different. We still have a strong link to street art with some of the most famous and prolific street artists calling the Blender home.
The Blender has changed now, it has become more of an art complex with 20+ studios, an artist in residence program, the Blender laneway street art project, the Melbourne Propaganda Window, Dark Horse Experiment and The Melbourne Street Tours.
