About The Speaker Project
BUILD YOUR OWN PAIR OF SPEAKERS
Learn the fundamentals of sound and build your own pair of speakers over the course of 4 weeks in the historic Eveleigh Locomotive Workshops in central Sydney.
In a small group class you are provided with material for a set of speakers, woodworking tools and the skills to understand the process of designing and building quality speakers. This course offers hands on building intertwined with theory covering sound and audio.
By the end of the course, you walk home with your own pair of hand-crafted speakers and the knowledge you need to set up a Hi-Fi system in your home.
This is a chance to meet up with like-minded people to learn and develop skills in woodworking, speaker design, theory and construction. No initial experience required.
