Think is a combined shopfront and creative workshop venue in Thornbury founded in 2017 by Melbourne artist Maggie May (from the Middle Aisle), and musician and educator Joshua Kelly.

Think formed to nurture and support a local community of artists and creators, while simultaneously empowering people to develop creative thought through their interactions with artists’ products and workshops.

The store has a strong focus on local Australian made and ethically produced products, whilst the workshop venue connects customers directly to these makers through workshops and other creative events.

19 September 2019 • Natural Skin Care Workshop with Essential Oils

I loved this workshop! It’s was fun and informative and I left feeling super inspired and also with a handful of lovely natural skincare goodies! I highly recommend it!

18 September 2019 • Macrame Wall Hangings with The Middle Aisle

Maggie's approach was very fun, encouraging and friendly. Her teaching was clear and she made sure everyone had help when they needed it. I already had an understanding of macrame, but the class was great for pushing me further and getting me to improvise and try different styles. The studio space is lovely and bright and the class is the perfect way to unwind and build creative confidence. Thank you!

17 September 2019 • Natural Skin Care Workshop with Essential Oils

Cath Chugg’s Natural Skincare Making Workshop at Think Thornbury was utterly butterly delicious and fun! Learning to make our own “gentle and organic enough to eat” products was illuminating and creatively inspired! A new portal of my creativity was unleashed thanks to Cath’s warmth and wisdom. I have not only begun using the wonderful products we made together, but also made other recipes from her book. And new ideas for recipes have also sprung up in me! I am making a collection of handmade skincare for my dear friend’s birthday coming up soon. Thank you, Cath for such a magnificent experience - true nourishment for our bodies, minds, spirits and the planet.
