Description

This creative access workshop will explore the fundamentals of thinking about inclusion and focus on re-framing your thinking on disability and diversity, and explore the fundamentals of embedding inclusion into your creative practice.

Jo Dunbar is a choreographer, director and facilitator, with 20 years experience in the professional arts industry. Jo’s facilitator strength is enabling the learning space to be one where we learn from ourselves and each other. She has co-founded Australia’s first dance company for deaf and hearing performers, The Delta Project, performed with renowned arts companies Strange Fruit and Restless Dance theatre, taught dance and physical theatre workshops to companies both regionally and nationally. Born profoundly deaf and bi-lingual in both English and Auslan she is passionate about all things diverse, experimental and inclusive.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Western Edge Youth Arts requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund or transfer.  Refunds and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing. We do not offer refunds for missed classes. There are no fees for refunds or transfers. For cancellations prior to the 48 hour cut off, email Western Edge Youth Arts to organise a refund or transfer

Terms & Conditions

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Western Edge Youth Arts or organised by Western Edge Youth Arts must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Western Edge Youth Arts.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Western Edge Youth Arts unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Western Edge Youth Arts classes and events or on Western Edge Youth Arts's premises. (For use of Western Edge Youth Arts marketing materials).

3.) REFUNDS

Western Edge Youth Arts requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer. 

4.) CANCELLATIONS

In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
