Description

Soy Candles are a beautiful addition to any space.

Brooke from Drift Creative Co will guide you through all the steps to create your own unique and exceptionally pretty scented soy candles!

Soy are the ideal candle as they produce low soot and a clear burn. You will learn about the equipment needed, how to embed the wick, incorporate a desirable fragrance load and colour your candle creations.

Brooke will also provide petals and other things to thoughtfully decorate your finished product.

You will leave with 3 candles of varying size.

This class is suitable for teenagers and adults, anyone under 18 must attend with an adult. No previous experience is necessary.

Participants may wish to bring a box or container to transport their candles home.

All materials to create your soy candles are included along with Morning Tea.

Parking Info

Parking is available at the RQYS. 

Please note weekends can be very busy so allow time to park and to walk a short distance to the venue.

The main public car park is on the right of the main building. The carpark at the front is for members only.

Additional parking is also available on your left as you enter Davenport Drive. This space is a public boat ramp so again access may be limited.

Brooke was sensational. A very helpful instructor - answered all our questions and gave great advise on combinations of vessel, fragrance and dye.

Totally loved this workshop. Brooke is a wealth of knowledge and great to talk to. Met some lovely people and enjoyed learning how to make candles.

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

OR

  • A refund can be requested 14 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
  • A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
  • A credit note can be requested 7 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.

No changes will be allowed after these times.

Workshop Hub - Booking Conditions

Anyone partaking in any workshop, classes or coming to any events at Workshop Hub or organised by Workshop Hub must agree to these terms and conditions.

Liability Waiver

Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Workshop Hub’s premises.

Any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any class or event organised by Workshop Hub.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in a class and/or event organised by Workshop Hub.

Photography and Video

I agree to give Workshop Hub unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Workshop Hub classes and events or on Workshop Hub’s premises. (We only intend to use these to show others what to expect at a workshop and how much fun our workshops are through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Workshop Hub promo material).

Cancelled Workshops

We aim to run each workshop, however, our workshops must have a minimum of participants to go ahead. In the event that a workshop does not meet the minimum number of participants and is subsequently cancelled, you will be notified via telephone or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
