Description

At Knitting 101, we’ll get straight into the good stuff: from choosing materials, to knitting lingo, and all the practical stuff in between. You’ll learn how to start and finish projects, and the most basic knit stitch, the garter stitch.

In this class we will be working with chunky knits, using Upcycled T-shirt yarn and other thick woolly yarns, utilising 9-10mm needles – helping you to create great winter warmers!

ABOUT ANNASOPHIE LEE

Ani is a California native who relocated to Sydney after graduating from UC Berkeley in 2013. Her mum taught her to knit in Year 6, and her first project was a truly ugly pink scarf. It wasn’t until last winter, when she was stuck in bed with Glandular Fever, that she realised how rad knitting could be. She started by knitting a pair of bright yellow shorts and continues to scour the internet for quirky knitwear inspiration. She’s since designed and hand knit a capsule collection for Madrid-based knitting DIY company, We Are Knitters.
