ABOUT ALEX CASTILLO

Alex‘s passion for crochet began as a child when she watched her grandmother produce old world doilies and colourful blankets. The seed was planted and many an hour was whiled away with old books and patterns trying to decipher the complicated stitches and abbreviations.

Many years later and a full scientific career behind her, nothing to do with crochet, Alex is still enjoying and passing on her crochet passion by giving classes and running a vibrant market stall on weekends.
