Learn an upbeat and Cute hula-hoop Cabaret Routine, choreographed to a 1920s/1930s swing track.

Do you want to dance with your hoop, in time to the music, with pizzazz and flair? How about new ways to link your tricks together with flow and grace? Hayley Hoopla a.k.a Hoopdogg will teach you her 1930s swing dance inspired hoop routine, in which you can discover your inner cabaret star!

Develop your stage presence,multi-task hoop AND dance whilst combining circus hoop tricks with hoopdance classic old favourites and new. Cute and jazzy with a sprinkle of sass, you will feel what it’s like to really perform. Hayley Hoopla will guide you through the routine, break it down, and help hoopers correct dance posture, enhance expression and get you performance ready! 

This class is designed for an Intermediate Hoop level, and there is an opportunity to become part of a hoop troupe, with a real performance opportunity at some events over Summer.

Sequins and feathers in hair encouraged. 

About Hayley Hoopla

Hayley Hoopla, a hula hoop  and cabaret performer and real life cartoon character has been hula-hooping and choreographing hoop acts for over 6 years.  She has performed her theatrical hoop acts across Europe and Australia, and sometimes goes under the name of HoopDogg, the one and only hula-hooping and hip-hop rapping gangster!

Cancelation & Refund Policy

REFUNDS

Work-Shop requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund. If you miss this window, earn some extra karma points and give your ticket to one of your buddies. The tickets are fully transferable. Email learn@work-shop.com.au to organise a refund.

CANCELLATIONS

We’ll do our darndest to run all scheduled classes, however, let’s face it… sometimes shit happens! Most of our classes must have a minimum of 5 participants before we can put them on. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Work-Shop or organised by Work-Shop must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

  •  Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property property brought into Work-Shop’s premises.
  • Any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any class or event organised by Work-Shop.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Work-Shop.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Work-Shop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Work-Shop classes and events or on Work-Shop’s premises. (Don’t worry, we’ll only these use to show others how much of a rad time you’re having through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Work-Shop promo material)
