Weave up a storm 70’s style!
Make your own Macrame wall hanging with 100% recycled t-shirt yarn and driftwood.
This workshop will take you through the basics of weaving your own macrame wall hanging, teaching you various knots, measurements and advice, shared amongst other like-minded ‘crafters’. Run by the established artist Melissa Carey, this is an intensive workshop aimed at beginners, aged 13 and above.
What you get: one handmade macrame wall hanging per person, new crafty skills, chats and smiles. All macrame materials and equipment will be provided. Extra material will be available for purchase. Colours of materials will be the choice of the artist and will vary at each workshop – giving you a unique macrame every time!

I really enjoyed the macramé class at workshop - I learnt all the basic skills needed to do macramé pieces and was encouraged to express my creativity through the construction of a wall hanging. A meditative and stimulating afternoon at Work-shop Melbourne!
