Join us for our second workshop with ‘The Nifty Cooks’ , who have hand-picked their favourite authentic Indian recipes, and will show you how to whip up a delicious three course meal - which is entirely vegan!

You'll learn how to cook the following lip-smacking dishes, which are sure to impress your family and friends:

  • Tofu Sticks (Tofu marinated and cooked in Indian herbs and spices)
  • Chole Masala (Chickpea curry cooked in a onion based gravy)
  • Aloo Gobi (Dry cauliflower and potato curry tempered with authentic North Indian spices)
  • Jeera Rice (Basmati rice cooked with cumin seeds)
  • Crunchy Salad
  • Poppadums’
  • Sweet Besan Cashew Halwa (Chickpea flour and cashew cooked in walnut oil)

ABOUT THE NIFTY COOKS

“The Nifty Cooks Cooking Classes” is a Melbourne based cooking school run by two home cooks Kanika and Sonal.

Both Kanika and Sonal are passionate about food and cooking and have been calling Melbourne their home for several years. By profession, Kanika is a Credit Manager with a leading broking firm and Sonal, Product Analyst with a very profitable investment group.

Most of their recipes come from their mother’s kitchen and from the streets and corners of India. They will share ample tips and tricks in the class and the class will taste what is cooked in the class.
