Join us for this hands-on workshop to create your own batch of kimchi – ready to take home and ferment.  We will sample different kimchi batches and also learn how to use it in creative ways in your everyday cooking.

Kimchi is a superfood that provides our must-have essential nutrients in every bite! Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish, which adds flavour to any meal – meat, potatoes, noodles, rice, bread, tortillas…anything your heart desires! Kimchi is a zero waste and sustainable supplement to our daily diet.


Sarah Gan is Ugly Food & Co, named after her famous trays of cinnamon scrolls – delicious handmade buns that have a beautifully ugly charm! Love is the ingredient that permeates through all of her food – from her brilliantly iced cookies, to her deeply satisfying Nonyan curries that pay tribute to her Grandmother and her childhood.
