25 November 2017 • Macrame Wall Hanging (Brisbane)

Very difficult to park nearby (arrived late); inadequate directions to workshop (got lost); basically found my own way to a free place in the class, looked around at what others were doing and followed everyone else; no personal help or guidance from instructor because there were too many people in the class; tried unsuccessfully to attract her attention for help, but ended up working most things out for myself and with a little help from lady beside me. Instructor appeared a little inexperienced in how to teach a class with so many people.

25 November 2017 • Macrame Wall Hanging (Brisbane)

Too many people in the class. The teacher really didn’t have time to spend with anyone. As with the Macrame hanger class, the teacher didn’t bring along any finished work to model what is possible. Very haphazard class. Some train the trainer classes are in order.

19 September 2017 • Macrame Wall Hanging (Brisbane)

We had a great time learning the basics of macrame, and creating our debut wall hanging! It was a very chilled evening with nice music, all the necessary equipment, and an experienced host. My wall hanging certainly isn't fit for a museum, but it inspired me to buy some rope so I can keep practicing. At this rate, all my family members will be getting macrame gifts for Christmas, haha!
