Description

Do you feel nervous when you walk into the bottle shop looking for something new to try? Or when the sommelier hands you the wine list and you have no idea what it is that you're looking at? Then this is the class for you.

Experienced Sommelier, Rochelle Godwin, will guide you through the basics of wine,  introducing you to 3 whites and 3 reds, including some of the classic grape varietals we all know and love, as well as a few of the lesser known varietals that you might not have heard of!  The idea is about exposure, to learn what you do and do not like, so expect diversity and some surprises along the way. The 6 wines will each explore a different region in this vast wine world, showcasing terroir and regionality.

Essentially, the class is all about getting to know what you like in wine and learning how to translate that knowledge into understandable terms when you are hunting down a new gem. So come along and get acquainted with wine, expand your palate, and open yourself up to new experiences!
