Description

Have you ever wondered how to make your own delicious and refreshing beers at home? Have you tried making your own beers before and only succeeded in making a mess? We have the knowledge and experience to help you succeed!

Making great tasting beer at home is super easy and within everyone’s reach with this fun and detailed tutorial. We take you through the entire procedure of making your own beer from malt extract kits such as the Morgan's or Cooper's tins and show you how to get the most out of them.

Starting from the basics, we take you through the entire brew day procedure; you'll learn all about:

  • Selecting your ingredients
  • Brew day preparation:
    • Sterilise everything!
    • Better yeast, better beer. – Making a yeast starter
  • How strong is it? - Use a hydrometer to calculate alcohol content
  • More hops? More better! – Dry hops and boiled hops additions
  • Grain tea: Malt up that beer, boy.

You will also get to try one of our previously brewed homebrews and receive a detailed information sheet with a recap of what's covered on the day.

This tutorial is run by our resident homebrew expert Paul. Paul has over 5 years of experience homebrewing; starting with the ‘kit and kilo’ method before gradually working up to all grain brewing. Always more than happy to answer any questions you may have during the course of the tutorial, Paul has a wealth of knowledge on how to get the absolute best results out of your ingredients.
