Workshop/Event Terms + Conditions

Open Hands Creative reserves the right to change its terms and conditions at any time without notice. 

By enrolling in the workshop / session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Liability Waiver

Open Hands Creative does not accept any responsibility to any person, property or injury suffered to any person whilst at our workshops/events.

Including before, during, and after the class. We are not liable for any injury or damage caused due to incorrect usage of our equipment. Please abide by the instructions from the facilitators.

2. Photo & Video

I agree to give Open Hands Creative unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken of myself/my child or artwork at any workshops/events organised by Open Hands Creative.

Photo and video content may be used for our website and social media accounts. If you do not wish to have you/your child’s face in the pictures please let us know beforehand by sending us an email.

3. Refunds

Open Hands Creative do not offer refunds.

4. Ticket Date Transfers

• Workshop dates can be swapped up to 1 week prior to a workshop without additional charges.
• Workshop dates can be swapped within 2-7 days of a workshop where an additional 25% rescheduling fee will occur.
• Workshop dates can be swapped within 1 day of a workshop where an additional 50% rescheduling fee will occur.
• If you do not show up to the workshop, with no prior warning you loose your rescheduling rights & money. 
• All workshop swapping must be of equal value.

5. Cancellations

Open Hands Creative may cancel a workshop/event due to unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified via email and text message in the unlikely event this happens.

Children’s Workshops:

• Your child’s place in the workshop/event is confirmed after you complete the registration, & make a full payment for the class.
• Open Hands Creative has the right to refuse enrolment, end enrolment or suspend enrolment of any child.

1. Children Workshop Policies:

• Please ensure your child follows the instructions of the staff and instructor at all times. We reserve the right to deny entry or ask anyone to leave the class if these guidelines are not followed.
• Before booking your child into a ‘drop and go’ workshop, please consider their ability to participate, engage, and follow instructions independently, without a parent present. This ensures a positive experience for both your child and the group.
• We are strictly a nut free zone. When bringing outside food or drink to the premises, you agree to take full responsibility for the food safety and we do not accept any responsibility to any food allergies or foodborne illness suffered to any person whilst at our premises due to provided food or drink.
• Children must wear enclosed shoes for safety reasons and clothes you are happy to get a little messy. We provide aprons, but we cannot guarantee they will keep the clothes clean!
• Children should arrive with carers at advertised times and should not be left prior to these times.

2. Child Safety:

The safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. All activities are conducted in a safe and supervised environment. Our facilitators are experienced working with children and adhere to strict safety protocols. We comply with all relevant child protection laws and regulations, including:

• Working with Children Check: All instructors have a valid Working with Children Check as required by WA law.
• Police Clearance.
• First Aid: Our instructors are trained in basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Supervision: Children are supervised at all times during class activities.
