A minimum of 6 participants is required to run most chocolate making classes. If sufficient numbers are not reached one week prior to the class date, The Sydney Chocolate School will contact you to reschedule your booking. Private classes for groups of 6 or more can be arranged at no extra charge by calling Rebecca on 0414701477.

Most standard chocolate making classes run for 1.5 hours. The Easter Class runs for 2 hours, while the Chocolate Making Workshop runs for 3 hours. The Online Chocolate School lesson is 40 minutes. Bean to Bar courses span multiple days with hands-on instruction.

Depending on the class type, you will make items such as chocolate bars, moulded chocolate, chocolate lollipops, chocolate freckles, truffles, and dipped strawberries. All participants receive a certificate of completion and a sample bag containing one of each item made during the class. Some workshops include a Chocolate Making Handbook with recipes.

Yes. The School Holiday Program serves children ages 8-16. The Family Chocolatiers class is for children of any age with a parent, grandparent, or carer. The Kids Holiday Chocolate Class accommodates ages 6-12. For children under 8, private classes can be arranged for groups of 6 or more. The Chocolate Making Workshop accepts ages 13 and above, with ages 9-12 welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Most standard classes use milk chocolate. However, when booking a private class of 6 or more friends, you can choose other chocolate options. All chocolate offered is gluten-free, and the school can accommodate requests to exclude chocolates with nuts or alcohol.

If you are unwell, The Sydney Chocolate School requires 24 hours notice, otherwise your class is forfeited. A $15 per person administration fee applies for any requested date changes in holiday programs. Classes cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date without forfeiture of payment.
