Description

If your days are filled with kids activities and endless loads of washing and you feel like you need to carve out some me-time to get a project done then our Kin & Kind Get Sh*t Done Meet-up is for you. With regular dates there is a chance for you to bring something you've been putting off and meet other parents from our community. We will provide a desk and wifi.

Some Kin & Kind devotees have suggested projects like:

- The baby photo book you haven't quite got around to doing and your child is now 4

- The scarf you started knitting and want to finish before Winter ends

- Articulating ideas for the new business you want to start

- You're a freelancer and want some company while you work

- The bills you need to do but don't want to miss the Voice to get them paid

- Organising the thousands of photos and videos on your computer an your phone

- Plus anything else you choose

Hosted by Kin & Kind

We look forward to hosting you at this Kin & Kind Meet-up. We will bring morning tea and help facilitate conversation. Or you can bring headphones and quietly meditate while you work - we won't annoy you. We have a minimal charge for our Meet-Ups to cover our room hire costs but also to make sure people commit to their space.

Come along to our workshops and meet-ups and learn a skill (or brush up on old ones), talk about what you love, meet new people and spend time focusing on something other than child-rearing. Our broad range of workshops and meet-ups cover everything from creative writing, gardening and crafts to career guidance and personal development. We'll make you a coffee and most importantly, childcare is offered in the same building (kids 0-6 months are welcome to join the classes).

Kin & Kind is about exciting the passion you once had but have lost in the fog of babies, kids and home, in a safe and supportive environment. We want you to leave feeling energised, with a sense of achievement that’s unrelated to the kids.

At the very least, you're 90 minutes closer to nap time.
