Rest in Pieces - Skeletal Articulation

Rest in Pieces invites you to attend Australia's first skeletal articulation workshop.

Gerard Geer one of Australia's leading skeletal artists has joined the R.I.P team and will take you on a very special exploration into skeletal articulation.

Throughout the 2 day workshop you will get hands on with the process of skinning and articulation, as well as attend an informative seminar on specimen cleaning and preservation.

At the end of the 2 day workshop, you will walk away with an insight into this fascinating art and you will each have a gorgeous mounted mouse skeleton housed in a glass dome.

Everything will be supplied over the 2 days including the mice, tools, glass dome, apron, snacks, and wine.

No previous taxidermy or skeletal articulation experience is necessary to attend this class.

Would you like to book a take home kit?

Such a great class full of like minded people. Had so much fun and learnt so much to boot. Already starting processing some skeletons at home with my new knowledge and skills.

The highlight of this amazing workshop was how much I learned & the people who where teaching it! heaps of relevant information was passed on on in a manner that was easy to absorb, leading to everyone in the workshop leaving with an amazing skeletal mouse specimen. I bought a take home kit so that I can continue this practice at home and with everything that I learned I am confident I can recreate this practice at home. THANK YOU RIP!! YOUR AMZING! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT WORKSHOP!!

I had a fantastic time at the skeletal articulation workshop. Gerard and Jason did an excellent job of making a friendly, relaxed atmosphere which felt more like hanging out with old friends than taking a class. The workshop was fun and interesting and the simple instructions made skinning the mice and putting their bones back together feel comfortable, natural and achievable. I went in with no expectations of the class and left happy and satisfied, with new friends and a refreshed interest in nature and anatomy. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone curious, and I hope to make it to more classes in the future.
