About the teacher:
Faith is one of our many talented entrepreneurs here at SisterWorks. She’s originally from Papua New Guinea and came to Australia in early 2017, since then she has been part of our sisterhood, always laughing and teaching other women how to improve their craft skills.
Before she came to Australia, Faith worked as a teacher and also as a Tailor which she calls her passion. This amazing woman is always doing handcrafts such as sewing, macrame, crochet and much more. She is really excited to meet you and show all of her talents.

SisterWorks is a social enterprise.
We help women who are migrants, asylum seekers and refugees by providing them with skills and job opportunities, so they can become economically independent.
We are a family, we know learning a new skill and sharing our knowledge can support women and their communities.
Our Sisters have experienced social, economic or cultural marginalisation. They are working hard, taking care of their families and adjusting to living in Australia.
As migrants, refugees or asylum seekers, we have experienced various difficulties. We struggle because of the language barrier, cultural differences and the lack of local working experience.
We believe 'work empowers women.' Our aim is to support as many women as possible to move into work in their new homeland, Australia.
