Description
Preserving foods is about more than just storing. It's about retaining the memory of the fruit when it was in season, preserving a taste and texture that is rich with life. Preserving food is a fundamental skill of living sustainably. Whether you like to dabble in jam making, want to know how to store your harvest so it lasts through the year - or just think your family would benefit from having some home-made preserves on hand - this course will suit you.. We go through proper canning techniques and in the process make a tomato chutney and a cucumber pickle.
Sarah is a qualified chef, so she is all over the science of food and in this masterclass she is going to teach you how to preserve the seasons:

You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

- A refund can be requested 14 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$45.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 14 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

I agree to give The Food School unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at The Food School classes and events or on The Food School premises. (For use of The Food School marketing materials).
