Description

Join us for a weaving workshop that gives you everything you need to start your weaving journey. This class is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about weaving and how to start this beautiful craft.

In this four-hour workshop, Lauren will teach several weaving techniques and show you how to create your own beautiful and custom woven wall hanging! Sarah, a registered psychologist, will help you bring mindful moments into your weaving, which you can later implement into other areas of your life.

Even if you already know a little about mindfulness, Sarah will introduce you to a model of self-awareness that you can take home and use to make sure you're pursuing the things that matter to you most.

All supplies included – loom, weaving tools kit, yarn, roving and afternoon tea.

Come and immerse yourself in the creative slow craft of weaving for the afternoon while you explore some self care and mindfulness approaches.

What a wonderful combination Mindfulness and Weaving are! Really loved my afternoon at Think Thornbury with Mindfully Woven. The venue was great, warm and welcoming and Lauren and Sarah were terrific facilitators. Professional, relaxed and patient! I wish I had done this class sooner! There was only one problem...it went way too quickly! Thank you to Think Thornbury and especially Lauren and Sarah at Mindfully Woven. JP
