This is your chance to learn from master illustrator and professional artist Cindy Lane! Cindy's watercolour techniques inspire artists around the globe via her demonstration videos, instructional magazine tutorials and workshops.
You will learn the secrets of the hypnotic Wet in Wet technique, watching as the pigment particles dance, swirl, separate and settle, creating the most wonderful tones and 3D textures. You will use artist quality paints and archival papers to experiment, loosen up, and learn how to embrace 'happy accidents'.
Cindy firmly believes that anyone, once shown how, can create amazing art! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those further along in their watercolour journey.

“I’m a happy artist and illustrator who lives by a sunny Perth beach. Creating in my studio or outside in The Wild is the most joyful way to spend my day. The Natural world is my inspiration, with the oceans, land and skies full of potential paintings. Through my paintings, I’m trying to promote a peaceful respect and awareness for the planet and all its creatures.”

Access is also possible from the back steps behind the J Shed or the footpath behind the Roundhouse. It's a little tucked away and if in doubt, type in 'Workshop Freo' to Google Maps or call 0431774371 for some assistance!
