To support our new range of resin products from Solid Solutions, we will be running a workshop to teach you how to create your very own resin paintings of a professional artist quality. You will go away with 4 canvas panels trialing different techniques, lots of inspiration, and of course a finished masterpiece.
You will have the oppportunity to engage with the consultant who offers a wealth of knowledge in resin as well as other painting materials and techniques, and to engage with the ideas of other participants.
Please note: All classes require a minimum of 6 participants to go ahead. In the event of a workshop being cancelled, your booking will be fully refunded or transferred to another workshop or date. This workshop incurs a booking fee of $5.80 included in the price. Should you cancel this workshop of your own accord, this booking fee will be deducted from the amount refunded to you. For cancellations within 24 hours notice of the scheduled class, 50% of the class fee will be refunded.
I enjoyed the class. I am a controlled artist but enjoyed the freedom and the unexpected result. Rachael explained the process very well and had time for everyone. I have never used resin before but would like to do another class just to make sure that I have retained all the process and learn more.. Everyone went home having felt happy with what they had achieved.
A fabulous class! Presented well, hands on learning and lots of experimentation before working on a final canvas. I was thrilled with the final result and ease of using the medium once given the instructions. I'll be purchasing my own resin supplies and look forward to more colourful, creative fun! Thanks Rachel and Zart!
Great class, well taught, but a bit rushed. Perhaps more instruction around limiting questions during the initial teaching time. Also needed more resin during the training phase as those who were running behind either couldn't get the colours they wanted and/or what was left had dried up and unusable. It's possible this was due to the unusually large class size (we were advised there were more people than usual). Much as I hate to see people miss out, I'd say the increased numbers had a negative impact on the overall quality of the (otherwise fantastic) class.
