Join us for an intro into the beautiful world of botanical illustration!
This workshop will cover the bases of what botanical illustration is and why it’s such an awesome art form. We’ll cover some observational drawing and watercolour techniques, as well as some tips on how to capture your botanical on paper. We’ll discuss compositions, line, shading, layering to create depth and maintaining scientific accuracy.
This will be a fun and creative workshop working with pencil and watercolours and looking at beautiful plants. You’ll walk away with your own illustration and some tips to go forth and paint all of the flowers, all of the time!

This was a very enjoyable class. It was great value, and my mother and I learned a lot and really enjoyed ourselves at the same time. The instructor was very knowledgeable, and the materials provided were good too. Thank you - another worthwhile Work-Shop class!
