Have you always wanted to make your mark on a wall but can’t paint or draw? Learn the fundamentals of this fun craft from Sydney based street artist CAMO.

You will learn all the basics necessary to create your very own stencil art at home.

  • Copy black shadows onto clear plastic sheets
  • Cut out shadows learning specific cutting techniques
  • Spray can control, layering and different nozzles
  • Create single layer stencils from photos, on your computer at home

About CAMO

CAMO is a Sydney based stencil artist who has been using stencils for around 5 years. He has a liking for single layer street style stencils, though can also be found in his studio working away on multi-layer works for canvas and commissioned walls.

He has also been involved in various exhibitions and festivals including:

I learnt a few tricks for stencil making. I learnt preferable thickness for cardboard, different blade types for cutting, using artistic license to alter the image, laying a background and intoduction into layering. I was also introduced to some software that can help with altering the image. The class was fun and in a great space.
