With the onset of Spring, we are taking our classes outdoors and into the beautiful urban garden that is Camperdown Commons. Join us for a Spring Sunday series on the Heath! Stick around and enjoy dinner at the beautiful ACRE restaurant afterwards.
Cheese is delicious... but homemade cheese is even better!!!
Join us and Marly of Omnom, and spend your day making your own homemade Italian cheeses.
Burrata and bocconcini are amongst the easiest and fastest cheeses to whip up in your own kitchen, and we're gonna show you how to make them from scratch! You will be using common kitchen equipment during this hands-on class, and we’ll cover everything from milk selection and coagulation through to turning the curds into oozy burrata and stretchy bocconcini.
You'll also have the option of sipping bubbles while you're at it... how can you refuse?!
About Marly and Omnom..
Marly graduated University with a Bachelor of Science, majored in Human Nutrition, which, with a love of food, has lead her to where she is today!
She loves creating food (especially cheese) from scratch, and wants to share this with everyone. She was raised in a 'from scratch' environment, where homemade bread, preserves, yoghurt etc. were the name of the game! So cheese making was a natural progression from there. Her passion for cheese extends to food in general, as it is something that brings people together, and she believe that every situation is made better with delicious food...
