Received this Shiraz Challange as birthday gift from my daughter, son and son in law. I really enjoyed the evening tasting 12 really good/great Shirazes. The challenge had 16 attendees and I would have a guess that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Phillip does a really good job of introducing and explaining the influence cold/warm/hot growing conditions have on the crop and also the influence the geographical location and the surrounding vegetation has. I came away with much better knowledge of my favourite type of wine. So the whole experience was both entertaining and extremely informative. To my family I really enjoyed their gift.

Too much non essential talking at the start of the session. Some of this was required possibly as there were some late attendees. Attendees should be informed that the session starts at the declared time and five minutes, say be allowed, for latecomers.
