This course will introduce participants to hand and power tools, safety applications, timber salvaging/up-cycling and practical hand skills. Participants will make 2-3 timber projects to take home and will be assisted and guided by a skilled workshop facilitator. This workshop aims to improve confidence and skill sets when woodworking and is the perfect spring board for entering a trade.
This course is specifically for those who are unemployed or under employed who are wanting to find trade related work or training. Or curious to learn more about trades and manual jobs.
Please note: Workshop location is in the alleyway between Brunswick library and The Howler. Look for the planter box garden.
