Our workshops are a maximum of 12 participants. Resin is a two-part product used for many different works of art & there are many types of resins available. The epoxy resin we use is equivalent to 50 coats of varnish, low odour & adaptable to many different pigments or colour additives. The art of working with resin is reasonably technical at first & you need to have a fast approach during application. Once you have played around with resin it is very hard not to become addicted to this form of art. Resin art is not suitable for children & atendees need to be 16years+ due to undeveloped lungs in children & the nature of toxins in resin.  It is also not suitable for pregnant women & we are happy to discuss art options around this that are suitable, please contact us direct: tam@arttreecreations.com.au

Each piece of resin art is different as the resin does its own thing which allows only one of a kind pieces & everyone producing art using resin would find it extremely hard to replicate what you are doing.

Each class you will be entiltled to 10%off in the shop including bookings into your next workshop.

30 August 2017 • Resin Art Masterclass

Tamara is a great teacher. She taught us all about the safety and issues surrounding resin work. Tamara gave us a demonstration about how to work with resin. We all had a lesson in colour's and the different pigments then we choose our own to work with. I learnt a lot about how to work the different resin pigmented solvents together to get effects. I also learnt how to get better lacing effects. I would be really happy to a private class with Tamara to learn even more. The lunch provided was tasty. I found the Bayswater address easy to find from the train station. Great beginners class, as well as a class that catered for a person who had a wee bit of experience with resin pouring.

What an amazing class. Without doing anything like this before I was able to complete my own piece of resin art. So proud of it. The class was put in very basic terms and easy to understand. Highly addictive.

This resin workshop was so much fun! It was great value for money because the duration and content of the workshop was informative, lunch was included, and I was able to keep the artwork I produced. By the end of the workshop, I was able to acquire the necessary skills and confidence and apply it on my own if I want to. Tamara was a great teacher and extremely helpful. There were many colour options to choose from and the group environment was really friendly. If you are keen to try new things then this workshop is definitely worth giving a go!
