Description

A new workshop as part of Craft Victoria's Craft Cubed festival for 2019.

Explore your creativity with pencil, paint and stitching while sipping wine in our gorgeous art studio. Create your own unique embroidery artwork!

PART 1 {Saturday August 3rd 1.30 - 3.30pm}
A relaxing fun afternoon of sketching and painting. Taking inspiration from our cute plant collection and artists' studio, you will create a series of drawings and paintings which will form the basis of the embroidery artwork.

We will focus on simple line work and experiment with colour and composition. Between classes your favourite line drawing will be digitally printed onto fabric, ready for part 2.

PART 2 {Saturday August 24th 1.30 - 3.30pm}
An inspiring afternoon of stitching and chatting!

You'll learn a collection of basic embroidery stitches and techniques to outline and fill your printed drawing to create your own unique design.

We will work with beautiful quality materials to make a small artwork which may be finished on the day or taken home to finish.
