Description

New Zealand painter Jacqueline Fahey examines ordinary objects, domestic scenes and close relationships saying “Art should come from what an artist knows”. We will explore oil painting techniques including how to prep canvas, slow drying paint application and mixing of mediums such as linseed oil to create compositions that reflect the clutter of everyday life.

The process will be strengthened by still life observational drawings, resulting in a rich, layered, unique painting, ready to hang on the wall.
