This intense weekend workshop will cover approximately 12 different types of stitching used in one of the oldest crafts currently making a huge revival in contemporary arts and craft. These techniques will lead you into a meditative process of creating an art piece for your wall using colourful embroidery stitching on cotton canvas. You will leave this workshop with skills that can be applied to sprucing up old garments, cloth bags, cushions and further artworks for your wall.

- As an optional extra not compulsory: Bring any fbre you would like to stitch with eg. wool, threads, or anything they think would be suitable for stitching

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.
We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.
Set within park-like groundsamongst historic winery buildings. Open 7 days a week, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.
o An administration fee of $20 per booking applies to all refunds.
o A FULL refund (less Admin fee) will be given if you withdraw from a class/workshop 5 working days or more before the start date
o NO refund will be given if you withdraw from a class/workshop less than 5 days before the start date.
o NO refund will be given if you withdraw after a class/workshop has commenced. However, participants are welcome to transfer to another class/workshop or accept a credit for another class/workshop taking place at a later date.
o Refunds can take up to 10 working days to process.
Some classes/workshops require a variation to these terms and conditions; please check your confirmation as the T’s and C’s variation will supersede regular terms and conditions.

Enrolments are taken on a ‘first in first served’ basis.
Payments must be made in full in order to confirm your booking. A booking confirmation and a materials list will be provided upon full payment.
CEAC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class that does not reach a viable enrolment number. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified no less than 4 days before the start of the class, and a full refund will be given.
Please be advised that your contact details will be made available to your Workshop Tutor who may need to contact you over the duration of your course. Please notify us if you prefer that we do not do this.
