This is an informative course designed for all experience levels whether you are a food enthusiast who loves to wow everyone with their baking skills or an industry professional looking to hone your technique. Everybody who attends will gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of making, baking mud cakes and making different types of ganache. 

The techniques learned in this class you will be able to:

  • Make and bake mud cakes from scratch 
  • Make a variety smooth luscious ganaches
  • The do’s and don’t to the perfect mud cake & ganache
  • Take home notes on the class with recipes and step-by-step process so you can create it time and time again.

This fun day is filled with skills, knowledge, tips and tricks of the trade to help you improve your technique in working with these ingredients and tools.

Take home everything you create in a cake box.

We will be using ‘Pepe Saya’ Butter and buttermilk, country valley cream. You’ll be using genuine Swiss couverture chocolate produced by Felchlin and free range eggs.

Celebration Cooking with Jessica Pedemont is now offering cooking, chocolate, cake decorating classes in our fun classroom Sydney based kitchen.

Celebration Cooking offers a range of classes from pastry cooking to cake decorating and sculpture. Classes run are able to run 7 days week and are taught at our purpose built kitchen in Canterbury in Sydney's inner west. Classes run for 3hrs+ depending on the topic.A variety of cake decorating and cooking/baking lessons in a fun filled atmosphere where the utensils, equipment, aprons and ovens are all supplied. Over a dozen classes to chose from with classes made to order for 4 or more people.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

No refund is given, but you can give your booking to someone else. If you are more than 15 minutes late you may not be allowed to enter the class. Your deposit will not be refunded.

Celebration Cooking with Jessica Pedemont requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund or transfer.  Refunds and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing. We do not offer refunds for missed classes. There are no fees for refunds or transfers. A great way to spend a day in a very friendly atmosphere with like minded participants and with knowledgeable and helpful tuition. Not only did I gain the skills as it was suggested I would, but also lots of other hints on products to use in baking. I thoroughly recommend the experience to anyone interested in baking, (or chocolate) I will be applying for more like experiences with Jesssica. Thanks Jessica.

I was a bit sceptical before taking the class as i have learnt cooking through you tube and was always satisfied with the result. However i took a leap of faith by enrolling myself for the class and what an experience it was. We were a small class of 4 people, Jessica's talk was so informative. She first showed us how to bake a cake and then everyone got to bake a cake from scratch themselves. It was a huge learning experience. The cakes were devine. I so enjoyed myself and learnt so much that i will be enrolling in a few upcoming classes.
