Description

We are offering this consultancy package as the fifth  step in setting up your microbrewery or pub brewery.

This package overrides all the other packages and as such forms the basis to brewing good, consistent beer.

Preparation for brewing is very important. Get this wrong and you end up with an infected beer which shows up as a sour taste in your beer. Infections are like what happens in the human body and can pervade the entire brewery, making all beers, that follow, infected as well.

Prevention is the only way to prevent sourness from occurring.

When first setting up your brewery you will need to check many things to ensure an infection is very unlikely to occur. This starts with planning and designing your brewery so that any possible problem is engineered out of the brewery.

Then it is a matter of procedure to make sure a protocol is followed to ensure infections cannot take hold of your brewery.

If they do then it is back to square one and an entire brewery audit  needs to be done to locate possible points of infection and eradicate them.

This is both disruptive to your brewing schedule, time consuming and costly. Some brewers have had to resort to this disruption and infected beer being  recalled, a costly exercise.

Learning about all the traps where infections are likely to start will arm you, the brewer, with the right knowledge, and when put into practice, will ensure a long life of your beer and your business!

You can also do the package on Quality control called Quality Control and Protocols  which complements this section really well.
