Gânache Chocolate offers a unique European chocolate experience for those looking for that something special in Melbourne.
Both stores boast stunning displays of beautifully handcrafted pralines made with the finest couverture chocolate as well as an extensive product range including decadent chocolate bars, gift wrapped chocolate figures and speciality hot chocolate.
The Gânache Patisserie section showcases Arno’s superb macarons and delicious French style patisserie.
All chocolates and patisserie are created with passion by Master Chocolatier Arno Backes and his team of Pastry chefs and Chocolatiers, in the kitchens above the chocolate lounge in South Yarra.
Payment Policy
Classes at Gânache frequently become fully booked, so we require full payment to be made at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made conveniently online with credit card or at the store in cash, EFT or credit card or even via credit card over the phone. Unfortunately, we can't hold places without payment
On occasion, Gânache is forced to cancel a class due to low booking numbers. We really don't like to do this as we love to teach and play with chocolate, but if we don't cover our costs we can't run the class. In instances where Gânache must cancel a class, enrolled participants will be notified 24 hours prior to the scheduled class and will be rebooked into the next available class, or a refund as required.
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Gânache Chocolate or organised by Gânache Chocolate must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Gânache Chocolate.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Gânache Chocolate unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Gânache Chocolate classes and events or on Gânache Chocolate's premises. (For use of Gânache Chocolate marketing materials).
3.) REFUNDS
Gânache Chocolate requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

This was an awesome experience! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes chocolate (so, everyone). The chef was fun and informative and the truffle making itself was brilliant

This was a truly wonderful class. The owner of Ganache was engaging and had a very interesting life story. I surprised my boyfriend with this class as a graduation present and I believe he enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks for the wonderful experience and delicious truffles.

It was nice to meet someone so connected in the dessert industry. However, it wasn't very hands on; participants really only got to participate in plating.
