Description

Decadant and delicious, the chocolate truffle is a type of chocolate confectionery, traditionally made with a chocolate ganache center coated in chocolate or cocoa powder.

Other fillings can replace the ganache such as cream, melted chocolate, caramel, nuts, almonds, berries, or other assorted sweet fruits, nougat, fudge, or toffee, mint, chocolate chips, marshmallow, and, popularly, liqueur but here at Gânache Chocolate, we're all about the ganache!

In this fun-filled, hands on course, learn how to make a variety of delicious truffles so that you can impress your friends and family and become the expert truffle-maker that resides within you.

As part of this course, you will also learn the accompanying techniques of piping, rolling and dipping, as well as touching on the art of tempering chocolate.

Some tips on preparing, storing and using ganache. The class was fun with a good level of participation. The teacher was engaging.
