How to make unique chocolate bars which were very yummy. Very different to the truffle making class which involved more techniques but this class was also fun. Went through the different techniques for tempering chocolate as well as how to make ganache for the filling the bars as well as can be used for macarons.
Was fun but very informational rather than practical, I felt. I would prefer if we got to make our own selections for bar toppings because although the class name is 'create unique chocolate bars', we were all given the same tray of Ingtedients to work with, therefore limited scope to make them unique
The course was fun and there was lots of treats but I felt like it could have been more hands on. It was a very good marketing exercise for Ganache as we heard about Arno's story and about their products in details. It was more like a marketing demonstration class than a practical skills course.
