Paint and Wine Workshops
Enjoy sipping on your favourite drink while getting creative!
We host regular paint and sip sessions led by local artist Melanie Caple. Join us for a fun new way of socialising and chance to get creative! You will be guided step by step through the process of creating a painting on canvas. Each session is inspired by an example created by the artist leading the workshop relating to a specific theme. Absolutely no prior painting or drawing experience is required. Each person will go home with a finished painted canvas to take home with them to show off on your wall or give to a friend!
Our paint and sip classes are a fun introduction to painting in a light hearted and social atmosphere. Think of these classes as a taster for learning to paint! They are a great way to dip your toes into painting (especially if it’s been a while!). For those wishing to expand their skills further we offer lots of other painting and drawing classes which are go further in depth over a longer period of time.
We supply all materials including paint brushes, paint, easels, aprons and glassware. All of our lessons are designed and taught by practising professional artists.
Please bring along a bottle of your favourite wine and nibbles! We are not licensed to provide any food or drink.

Gloworm Studios is a unique art school located in the heart of Fairfield. Led by professional illustrator Marianna Marx, our programs specialise in painting, drawing and illustration. Gloworm Studios is a warm and nurturing environment where artists both young and young at heart are invited to immerse themselves in their creativity and imagination.
Marianna Marx has taught art alongside her illustration career for the past 10 years. Her experiences include working in the education department at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, an artist residency at Caulfield Grammar School, one on one art tutoring for children and adults, after school art classes, corporate workshops and working alongside artists with intellectual disabilities. Marianna has taken insight from each of these experiences to create an art school of her own where she can share her love for creative expression with others in her local community.
