Art Therapy Wellness Workshops - 4 week Thursday Evening Series | with Nicky Beecroft

HeARTful Wellness Series

What is the HeARTful Wellness series about?

HeARTful Wellness series invites you to ignite your curiosity and acknowledge your true connection to yourself, others and the world around you. It also encourages self-care and heartful creativity for the body, mind and spirit.

In this 4-week series we will be exploring one topic each week covering, I love-Gratitude, I am-Alignment, I need-Insight and finishing with I will-Action. Nicky Beecroft offer’s this through exploring mindfulness practices, creative arts processes and through conversations and connection to our art. We learn though sharing our experiences and the unique magic each person brings to the collective.

What do we do in a HeARTful wellness session?

While sipping on a delicious cup of tea you are invited to join the table and a conversation with other like-minded people. We meet and greet each other, Nicky will introduce a HeARTful wellness topic to explore and you will be invited to explore this though a creative arts process. A creative arts process includes a mixture of experimenting with various art materials and mediums as well as breathing techniques, visualization, journaling, gentle movements and of course the art making itself. We finish each session with sharing where you are invited to listen to others experiences and share your own discoveries you wish to offer to the group. We will then close the group each week with a small closing ritual.

Who is this HeARTful Wellness series for?

This offering is for anyone wishing to explore their imagination, creativity, and/or wanting to give themselves the gift of time-out.  It is also for anyone wanting to slow down and take a breather, unwind and unplug from the daily stresses of life, and explore aspects of themselves and their life through art processes.  No prior artistic experience is required. The focus is to be playful and explore creativity.

Who is the facilitator?

Nicky Beecroft is a deeply passionate facilitator of creative expression, movement and sensory experiences, a developing leader in social and environmental change and sustainability and a gardener of life.

Guild Of Objects

Vendor since 2019

In the not so distant past we were able to explore and engage in a creative space within the boundaries of our domestic environment. More recently with the advent of mass produced furnishings and readily available home decor, coupled with a trend toward apartment living and the rise of the dual income family then this space for the creative endeavour within the domestic sphere has all but disappeared.

In recognition of this the Guild of Objects is a space that supports and holds space for all to pursue, source or explore their own innate creativity. The Guild provides a space for artists, craftspeople and makers to sell their products. The Guild runs workshops in a beautiful home like environment that gives everyone the opportunity to explore their own creativity and finally the Guild organises and runs design, craft and art tours to Japan, Bali and France in order to provide a forum to explore the world through a creative lens.

The Guild is a space that honours the notion of Connection through Creativity

Connections with ones creativity, connection with ones self and connection to others through mutual pursuit.

Come and visit us at 35 Smith Street, Fitzroy 3065 Australia.
