Description

Learn the basics in this three part workshop to get you started on a knitting machine and make your own tote bag! 

Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, expanding your knitting skills or wanting to learn how to use the knitting machine currently in storage, this class is perfect to get you started.

Covering a few different techniques to equip you to create your own tote design over three weekly classes and you get to walk away with a handy new bag to use over the summer! 

Techniques covered as part of the workshop are:

  • Identify and recognise parts of the knitting machine

  • Cast on, plain knit and cast off

  • Tension and colour striping

  • Tuck stitches

  • Lace Patterning

  • Hems and Finishes

Physical and non-material kitted online workshops-

Pink Ember requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund/exchange. Please email pinkemberstudio@gmail.com to organise.

PHOTO & VIDEO - Pink Ember has unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Pink Ember classes and events or on Pink Ember’s premises. (Let us know on the day if you don’t want to be photographed)
