Beginners Furniture Restoration for Women

Bring pre-loved furniture back to life!

Description

Would you like to be able to restore and repair wooden furniture items but don't know where to start?

If you answered "YES," then this course is for you.

Learn how to bring pre-loved furniture back to life in this Learn Local course facilitated by Hayley Williams.

In this short course, including a full-day workshop, we cover a range of skills that will help you restore Timber Furniture.  This includes, selection, sanding, painting, stains, repair and power tools use. As part of the course, you will get hands-on learning with tools and finishes and enjoy seeing your confidence build as we progress together. The course is an excellent opportunity to build the foundation to create with your hands and connect with other women through creativity in a relaxed environment.

There is always plenty of room for questions, clarification and interaction throughout the course to build confidence and knowledge regarding furniture and restoration.

Come and share the studio workshop with us during the course, and you can start transforming your home and furniture with new skills and at little expense.

Your Teacher

From Hayley:

In my work refurbishing furniture and renovating houses, I found the skills and knowledge to make pieces look completely new rather than upcycled were lacking.

I also received a lot of poor and incorrect advice, which cost me time and money -( honestly, it made me think I was doing something wrong but I now know it wasn't me it was the product but poor sales advice.) I've made all the mistakes, so you don't have to.
