Enza is a native Sicilian who loves sharing her culture with others. Come along to this fun and social evening, share a glass of vino, taste some delicious food and learn new recipes using traditional coooking techniques.
In this class, Enza will demonstrate how to make Torrone Siciliano (toffee almonds) a lovely gift to take to friends; cassata (ice cream cake) - a refreshing way to finish a meal; and cassadeteddi (ricotta turnovers).
In addition to teaching at Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre, Enza runs cooking classes and food tours to Sicily. You will be given a copy of the recipes so you can impress everyone at home. Learn some lovely sweet desserts and treats in time for summer barbeques and festive celebrations.
Enjoy some hands on work in this class and sit down at the end of the class with everyone to enjoy your culinary creations!
