Italian Cooking with Maria
Gnocchi is a simple potato dumpling. What makes it authentically Italian is the sauce. There are a number of sauces that you can use with them. Come and learn which is my favourite and how the change in vegetable you use to make the gnocchi affects the taste and which sauce would go best.
Cake is good with everything but especially coffee. Giovanna is my cousin in Italy and this is her cake that I will share with you. She makes it for breakfast. Come and learn why Italians eat cake for breakfast.
Come and learn how to cook the way nonna (my mum) taught me. I can guarantee that you will have a hands-on experience.
There will be stories, laughs and eating. You can bring a friend or maybe a member or the family. Children are welcome, they love to get their hands dirty. Each class offers one savoury dish and one dessert.
All ingredients provided.
You bring: and apron, containers for any leftover food.
