Stoneware Ceramics Workshop (December 2018)

Book Now (http://weteachme.com/l/PDGcxZYr)

Daisy Cooper’s hand built ceramic wares are reminiscent of times gone by - of a slower life where afternoons were spent meandering along the riverbank, gazing up at the native greenery, or of nights spent staring at the sparkly dust of the milky way.  After all, this is where Daisy gathers her inspiration for her much sought after range of hand made ceramics - growing up in rural Scotland, has kindly delivered such vivid memories, evident in her ‘river like’ glazes and speckly white plates seen the world over (Jamie Oliver has used Daisy’s work in his Food Revolution series - yes, Jamie Oliver!).

Due to popular demand, Daisy will be back at The Windsor Workshop on Saturday 1 December. You will be treated to a morning of slow clay, hand building pieces from scratch.  You will be able to choose glazes from Daisy’s range - pieces will be fired and then returned to The Windsor Workshop for collection.

Important info

The Windsor Workshop is located on level 1 of 115 Chapel Street, Windsor.  Windsor train station is a 4 minute walk, or jump off at Duke Street stop on Tram 78.  All day parking is available behind Paint Spot, Windsor (opposite the station) for around $7/day.

Our workshops are suitable for persons 16 years or older.

It is likely you will be photographed at the workshop, so please let us know if you do not want to be published.

Terms and Conditions / Cancellations

The Windsor Workshop reserves the right to cancel any scheduled workshop.  The reasons this may occur are (a) if a workshop does not reach the minimum number of students or (b) an Artist or Workshop Facilitator falls ill.  In the unfortunate circumstance of a workshop being cancelled, students will be notified at least 2 days before the commencement of the workshop and a credit note will be issued to be used at a later date.  Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds if the class is cancelled.

If you are unable to attend your workshop, please let us know within four working days of your workshop and we will give you a credit note to be used at a later date, or transfers are available upon request. No credit notes will be issued for cancellations when less than four working days' notice is given. Due to the nature of limited places, working with artists and purchase of materials, we cannot offer refunds.

Had a wonderful time doing a ceramics class here. The class was relaxed and Daisy was brilliant. Can't wait to get my pots back to see the finished product. They even catered to my very extensive food requirements!! Thanks Bree.

I purchased some vouchers for my daughters to attend the stoneware Ceramics workshop. Both my daughters thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and are looking forward to using their finished pieces. I think these workshops are a great idea for gifts.

What a fantastic experience this class was!! It was very much enjoyed - lovely people and great snacks. We bought the ‘Bring A buddy’ enrolment pack and made three pieces each. We can’t wait to get our our pieces back from the kiln and enjoy a coffee in our own homemade cups!! Thanks to Daisy for being so patient, knowledgeable and lovely!
