Want to try something new?

Group bike is a spectacular Chinese circus act that combines acrobatics, balance, agility and group communication with multiple people on one bike. The skills and tricks possible range from the basic through to astounding tricks and feats. 

This is a foundations class so all levels are welcome. In the following term we will run a longer group bike & acro class that will lead towards a performance for those who are interested. 

When booking you will be charged 50% of the course fee up front, and the other 50% 7 days after class begins. If you wish to pay in full when booking please choose this option at checkout.

Here at Vulcana Women’s Circus, we run workshops for adults and kids and teens, and we develop community projects with all kinds of different communities, the focus always being on creativity and empowerment through circus. You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.

Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.

This term got cut short by COVID-19 but the first two weeks were super fun. Our trainers were very knowledgeable and all we students jumped in and tried things that we found personally challenging. I'm looking forward to this class restarting in future terms.
