As part of the Craft Cube Festival 2017 join Stefan Gevers in the Contemporary Watercolour workshop.
Don't be intimidated by watercolour and patterns any longer! Watercolour is a fun and flexible medium with many contemporary applications. Learn how to use the materials on their own and in creative ways with other materials.
You will learn the process of creating a watercolour painting / illustration and explore the use of the watercolour palette - which brushes, how much water and what washes to start with, as well as learning new techniques using other mediums.
We will use patterns, abstract compositions and your own creative ideas to teach you the basic and advanced skills to create your own paintings at home. The step-by-step approach of the course creates a relaxed environment with no pressure and surprising results.
This workshop is suitable for the absolute beginner as well students with more experience.
