Description

How often have you tried to drawn a portrait of someone, and well, it kinda sucks? Their nose is too big, their eyes are in the wrong place, and it doesn’t really look anything like them at all?

Many people make mistakes when drawing faces because they don’t fully understand facial proportions. Proportion refers to the relationship in size and placement between one object and another.

In this 2 hour workshop with Illustrator Sharnee Taylor you will learn about the basic structure of the face and how to draw facial features in the correct location.

You’ll get to try a range of different approaches – including drawing from observation (draw the person next to you), drawing from reference images and drawing from imagination. You’ll walk away feeling more confident about drawing portraits, ready to tackle any project that comes your way!
