Holistic and functional medicine base their belief on the idea that if we are to truly heal we must treat the underlying cause, not the symptom. Most modern, chronic conditions such as weight gain, hormonal imbalance, acne, lethargy, headaches and anxiety begin in the gut. How your digestion functions will determine how the rest of your body functions.
In this interactive workshop you’ll learn HOW our digestive systems influence all aspects of our health (hint: digestion goes far beyond feeling gassy and bloated all the time.) You’ll also learn HOW to heal your gut – for good. There are no quick fixes, but you’ll be armed with an arsenal of tips and techniques to incorporate into your daily life.
Lastly, you’ll learn about the ancient art of fermentation and why it matters for your health – especially your gut! We’ll be getting our hands dirty making some of your very own sauerkraut to take home to complete your gut healing protocol.
What you learn in two hours could potentially change the course of your life and health. We’re not messing around with this one and diving into the deep stuff for true, lasting healing.
Like most passionate teachers, I was a confused and desperate student for a long time. I’m a big time foodie and after attending culinary school I dove headlong into my personal journey of health. If there is a symptom, I’ve had it. From yeast infections, constant UTI’s, gas, bloating, anxiety, depression, headaches, acne, constipation and achey joints (the list could go on!) Because of my cacophony of health issues I went back to school to study nutrition. I became extremely passionate about the gut and working with people who have “tried everything.” After a lot of agonizing trial and error and a lot of weird experiments on myself, I finally found some answers. I had a raging case of candida and leaky gut. Two culprits that were driving most of my symptoms. The strangest symptoms of all being anxiety and depression – I had no reason to be desperately sad. With a lot of research, I unearthed the connection between the gut and the brain and how they influence each other.
I am now a passionate educator of gut and mental health, especially how the two are interrelated. I don’t believe in settling and don’t believe my clients should either.

A small amount about fermenting.
The class was incredible and so informative. Hannah was a great instructor and it was nice to hear her first hand experiences with Gut Health. I cannot wait to try my sauerkraut!! Highly recommend.
